Integrated Vivarium Solutions (IVS) is a manufacturer's representative firm
located in Houston, Texas, owned and operated by Jeanette Pearson,
LATG/CMAR. IVS serves the needs of the Life Science and Health Care
communities throughout the following states: New Mexico, Texas,
Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama.
Our mission is to provide you with working solutions for your facility needs
through appropriate equipment choices and consulting services.
About Jeanette Pearson (formerly Bicknell):
She has been involved in the field of laboratory animal science for over
twenty years. Jeanette began her career as a veterinary technician
working in various research labs at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham. After receiving AALAS certification at the LATg level, she
moved into the facility management in the lab animal world at Baylor College
of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her responsibilities at Baylor continued to
grow and she became the Operations/Project Manager for the seven
facilities on campus. These responsibilities included: capital projects,
equipment purchasing, installation and replacements, facility renovations,
construction and maintenance, as well as emergency management.
IVS recently participated in the programs at the annual LAMA meeting in
Charleston, SC and also at the Texas Branch meeting in San Antonio, TX.
The presentation, "How Your Building Works and Why It Matters", covered
facility issues, how the facility functions and what the impact of those
issues might have on the facility's delicate environmental balance.
Integrated Vivarium Solutions continues to support and participate in
meetings and maintains memberships at the AALAS branch level and
national level.
